We had such a great time on New Year’s Eve, 2023, and actually both managed to stay up until midnight to see in the new year.
Charlotte Players had a concert with a Speakeasy Theme. so we got together with friends, Manny and Margreth and Pete and Laurie and dressed up for the occasion.
We raided the Charlotte Players wardrobe for dresses, boas hats and shirts and turned out in our finery. The concert was great with all the 1920s and 30s music, and we all had fun.

So a good time was had by all. Then we came home, had a few more drinks and got the Sydney Fireworks on YouTube right at the countdown to midnight.
It was truly a great way to celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of the next.
