This is the title of Jenni’s next play, which opens on Wednesday, 17th April and runs for two weeks, Wednesday to Sunday, until the 28th.
Here is an image of the stage setting.

Most plays are set in the living room of a house or condo. This one, however, takes place in the parking lot of a community theatre.
There is little to no bakstage area, so all the actors pile out into the parking lot between entrances, and sometimes we hear what is going on inside the theatre when the stage door opens.
Jenni is directing, and also has costumed the show because her costumer got cast in another show when someone dropped out. This has been a challenge, but is now complete.
The challenging part has been that there are three scenes in each of two acts. The actors had to be costumed differently for each scene.
The action for The Neighborhood Actors Summer Fun Repertory Theater takes place over several months of summer when they are performing Hello Dolly, Sound of Music, Medea, Oklahoma, Glass Menagerie and West Side Story. Summer fun, indeed!

In addition to all the normal costuming, Jenni had to learn how to make some stage blood and a suitable blood jacket to go under a white toga – she also made the white toga.
Here are some shots of the actors in costume.

The “van” you can see on the stage is, of course, a completely wooden mock-up of a van because, as you can see, the stage is too small to accommodate a real van. It is almost the 11th character in the play!
The tech crew hang out in the van, which is owned by Vondo, a recovered drug addict and janitor at the local high school.
While challenging, it has also been great fun as always – the actors are great and we’re looking forward to a great show.

P.S. The season has now finished and the audiences loved the play. The actors loved doing it and a good time was had by all!
