So, we took a trip into Sarasota a couple of Sundays ago to visit the Marie Selby Botanic Gardens. It was a beautiful day and not too hot.
Mostly, the weather has prevented us from visiting before, either torrential rain or too hot in the summer months to be walking around gardens. But we found ourselves with nothing to do one Sunay when it was quite cool.
The Gardens run along the Sarasota Bay, so there are many spots that are at the water’s edge, which was great. And we managed to snap some shots of Sarasota from the Gardens.
Here are a few photos to give you a glimpse into the Gardens.

And here is a photo of the view from the Gardens across the bay to Sarasota.

Another coupls of shots of different aspects of the gardens.

It was certainly a very pleasant afternoon, enjoyed by both of us. And a nice place to take visitors to Florida.
